This is a digital painting created with a software program and it's not really a painting actually...it's more of just a rendered fractal. Really easy to create so not much goes into making these things but it was fun enough to spend like 15 minutes or so creating it haha Thanks willy
this is amazing! not joking at all, this is one of the better fractals that i've seen, what major variations did you use? i can tell that you used hyperbolic for the main part, but not sure about the rest. I would give you a 8 on the scale 1-10 not because its slightly bad but since there's so many amazing pieces out there. I don't think that you're a less of a artist at all, this type of art along with others like vector and digital photography and etc... only requires a short time to make, until you get into the major fractals like julians and 3D where the computer almost argues with itself infinitly which can take forever to get and then render.
I can't wait to see more from you when you get into these. keep up the good work
to be honest plantm, I can't remember all the settings I used to piece this together but I did tweak a celetial photo and layered the back of this with that but when I get into apophysis I just kind of drift off lol and get lost in it but I think I mutated the heck out of foci and I used yea hyperbolic and something else but I also ran it through other filters with other sofware but because of how easy it is to create images like this with apophysis, I try to complicate it to the best of my ability using layering technques, ect so I don't feel as big of a cheat lol but thanks for the compliment man, means a lot and don't sweat the rating...I'm just happy that you like it and i'm excited to start getting into 3d and the julian stuff but honestly I have no idea how to yet...I have been trying to figure it out but it's escaping me just like using mandlebulb 3d...shit is like rocket science to me lol I dunno, i'll figure it out sooner or later though. This is something I enjoy doing, anyawy...thanks again man!
